INCOTEC CARGO continues to arrange Atomstroyexport equipment shipments for Rooppur NPP in the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

On 2nd August 2016 the 21st containerized load has been shipped from the Port of Saint Petersburg for construction of pioneer base of Rooppur NPP. Special type of containers - 40’FLAT RACK - has been used for that shipment.

That was the sewerage treatment plant, mounted on base of 30’ and 40’ containers. The total weight of the plant in transport condition is 72 tons; the total volume is 665 m3. The shipment has been carried out simultaneously by use of 10 containers of 40’FR type.  

For two cargo items, mounted on base of 40’ container, which length exceeded 12 meters, collapsible 40’FR containers were used.

In accordance with the terms of the Contract with the Supplier of equipment, INCOTEC CARGO shall provide a full range of logistics services connected with equipment delivery on CIF the Port of Chittagong (Republic of Bangladesh) terms.

 

INCOTEC CARGO is responsible for the following: cargo receipt at the Port of Saint Petersburg, working out the scheme of stuffing and cargo securing in containers, stuffing, survey, documentation and interaction with the Client’s customs broker, loading stuffed containers on board of a vessel and delivery to the Port of Chittagong.  

Earlier INCOTEC CARGO has already arranged the shipment of oversized equipment for Rooppur NPP.
On 17th June 2016 «chemical additives warehouse» has been shipped from the Port of Saint Petersburg. It consisted of 2 items with dimensions of 11, 50 х 2, 40 х 2, 46 m each, with total weight  of 10 tons and volume 135 m3.
Equipment has been shipped by use of two 40’ FR containers and delivered to the Port of Chittagong on 30th July 2017.

Over the past 10 months it has been shipped 1 400 freight tons of equipment for the pioneer base of Rooppur NPP, which consisted of oversized items and a large number of standard cargo.
